With Deadpool & Wolverine hitting theatres, you might expect the rumour mill to slow down. Think again! There’s still plenty of buzz surrounding upcoming MCU movies and TV shows.

Courtesy of The Cosmic Circus, we’ve got intriguing new details about The Fantastic Four: First Steps. According to Alex Perez, Marvel Studios might use this film to explore the end of a universe, hinting that Marvel’s First Family will eventually settle permanently on Earth-616.

Perez also notes that while the reboot will touch on the Fantastic Four’s origins, by the time we catch up to the present, the team members have gone their separate ways. However, it’s likely Reed and Sue remain a couple, as the scooper insists that Franklin Richards will appear in both The Fantastic Four: First Steps and Avengers: Doomsday.

The Fantastic Four will reunite when Galactus threatens Earth, but there’s an interesting twist: similar to America Chavez, there’s only one Galactus in the entire Multiverse, and he consumes planets across all realities. This suggests he devours branched timelines and has the power to traverse them.

Additionally, Perez mentions that the plan is still for Red Hulk to clash with Bruce Banner “at some point,” though it’s unclear how Marvel Studios will fit a World War Hulk project into the schedule before the next two Avengers films.

On the subject of future plans, it appears the MCU is still on track for a reboot post-Secret Wars, aiming to establish the true Marvel Universe. This will come after He Who Remains created the Sacred Timeline, which erased the threat of the Fantastic Four and X-Men.

Regarding Thunderbolts, the current belief is that Bucky Barnes won’t have much screen time, but he’ll play a more significant role in Doomsday and Secret Wars. Taskmaster, portrayed by Olga Kurylenko, is set for a major costume overhaul, giving her a look that’s more faithful to the comics and reminiscent of a S.H.I.E.L.D. uniform. However, Perez criticizes the new mask, likening it to DC’s Red Hood and suggesting it “looks bad.”Additionally, the often unreliable @MyTimeToShineH has dropped a few new tidbits, including a potential Runaways project and news that Wolverine will sport a new suit in Avengers: Secret Wars.Stay tuned for more updates as we get them!
