Join forces with friends or bots in Hades-like runs through various town areas, engaging in battles with enemies and bosses. Armed with melee and ranged weapons, two special powers, and the whimsically named ‘Bullshit’ powers, inspired by children’s imaginative play rules, players can strategically choose upgrade and Bullshit cards before each run for added excitement.

In South Park: Snow Day!, players can also acquire toilet paper, Dark Matter, and Platinum Pieces. Gamers can spend Snow Day toilet paper to increase the power of upgrade cards or re-roll their choices. Platinum Pieces are earned through gameplay progression and conquering special challenges and will unlock new cosmetics and emotes to keep the New Kid looking fresh. Dark Matter, a strange substance tied to the endless blizzard affecting the town, allows players to buy perks and increase speed, stamina, health, and strength stats between runs.

THQ Nordic announced South Park: Snow Day! for PCs and consoles last year. Question Games (The Magic CircleThe Blackout Club) developed the game, which is the latest based on the long-running South Park Comedy Central series. Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Ubisoft published 2014’s South Park: The Stick of Truth. The game’s sequel, South Park: The Fractured but Whole, arrived three years later, developed by Ubisoft San Francisco. 2017’s Mobile game, South Park: Phone Destroyer, is the last game based on the franchise.

South Park: SnowDay! arrives on March 26, 2024.
