Filming Begins for Matthew Vaughn’s ‘The Stuntman,‘ Confirmed to Share Universe with Kick-Ass.

Following his recent spy thriller ‘Argylle,’ starring Henry Cavill, released in February this year, Vaughn is now fully immersed in ‘The Stuntman’ production. According to reports from Variety, the film is slated to debut at either the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) later this year or at Sundance in 2025.
Excitingly, Vaughn has revealed that ‘The Stuntman’ is the first installment of a new trilogy set within the Kick-Ass universe.

Contrary to expectations, ‘The Stuntman’ is not Matthew Vaughn’s next directorial endeavor. Instead, Damien Walters, a seasoned stunt performer, will helm the film. The plot revolves around two brothers pursuing careers as stuntmen.
Despite Vaughn’s absence from the director’s chair, his involvement remains significant as he takes on the role of producer. Notably, the film’s crew consists of members from Vaughn’s trusted stunt team, ensuring a seamless transition for ‘The Stuntman.
