Welcome back to another MCU rumour roundup! Let’s start by debunking a wild claim making the rounds on social media this weekend.

Despite numerous fan accounts claiming that Barbie star Ryan Gosling has “officially” been cast as the MCU’s Ghost Rider, we can confirm that’s not the case. While it’s possible he has discussed the role with Marvel Studios, nothing has been announced or confirmed as of now.

Now, onto Vision Quest. Originally developed by Jac Schaeffer, the spin-off series will now be helmed by Terry Matalas (Star Trek: Picard). Paul Bettany is set to reprise his role as Vision. According to scooper Daniel Richtman, the plan remains for Vision’s android family, including Viv and Vin, to appear in the 2026 series. This is reassuring news, as we were concerned that the premise, based on Tom King’s Vision comic, might change with the new showrunner.

Richtman also reports that Marvel Studios has begun searching for a showrunner for The Blonde Phantom, a TV series produced by Scarlett Johansson. Taylor Swift and Sydney Sweeney have both met with Kevin Feige to discuss the role.

In other exciting news, @MyTimeToShineH reveals that Chris Pratt is set to return as the Legendary Star-Lord “soon.” Additionally, they claim we’ll see a Scarlet Witch movie sooner than expected. @Cryptic4KQual supports this, stating that Marvel Studios is eager to bring Elizabeth Olsen back for the project.

Talking about her future as the character last year, Olsen said, “Specifically in the last four years, my output has been Marvel. I don’t want…it’s not that I don’t want to be associated as just this character. But I really feel like I need to be building other parts back up for balance.”

“I so much want to do films right now. And I hope some of them come together in the way I feel like they can. But yeah, that’s something that I need. I just need other characters in my life,” she added. “There’s no longevity in one character.”

For what it’s worth, we’re hearing the idea is to continue Wanda Maximoff’s story in Agatha All Along and Vision Quest, even if Olsen doesn’t appear. With that in mind, there are clearly big plans for her to be a central figure in the Multiverse Saga.
