Despite some quantity-over-quality issues during the Multiverse Saga, the MCU continues to captivate moviegoers and comic book fans alike. This widespread interest fuels countless rumours about its future, and today we have another exciting roundup.

Captain America

We begin with insights from Jeff Sneider, who addresses some recent buzz about the MCU. He discusses the latest report on Captain America: Brave New World, which suggests it only needs 22 days of reshoots.

Sneider, however, believes more extensive additional photography is scheduled for later in 2024, noting, “From what I’ve heard, it’s going to take a lot more than 22 days to fix everything that’s wrong with this movie.”

Blade

Another MCU project facing difficulties is Blade. Announced at San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, the reboot has cycled through multiple writers and directors and still appears to be in limbo.

Despite recent concerns, Sneider assures that Mahershala Ali is not leaving Blade and remains deeply committed to the character. Like Marvel Studios, Ali seems determined to ensure this movie is done right.

Spider-Man

Finally, Sneider shares updates on Spider-Man 4. He asserts that Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah were never considered to direct the film and claims they were removed from Ms. Marvel’s post-production due to being difficult to work with.

That contradicts much of what we’ve heard about their time on the Disney+ series. Plus, after Batgirl was scrapped, they even shared an email of support sent to them by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige.

Taylor Swift/Sydney Sweeney

Sydney Sweeney & Taylor Swift

Next, we turn to @MyTimeToShineH. After their recent scoop about a new 300 TV series proved accurate, we’re inclined to trust their latest rumour: singer Taylor Swift will reportedly not be appearing in Deadpool & Wolverine.

If this rumor holds true, it will undoubtedly disappoint many Swifties who were eager to see her portray Dazzler in the MCU.

According to the leaker, Lucasfilm is eager to cast Swift in the Star Wars franchise. Adding to the intrigue, Madame Web star Sydney Sweeney is also rumored to be in contention for a role in the Star Wars universe. Interestingly, both Swift and Sweeney are said to be in talks for Scarlett Johansson’s The Blonde Phantom Disney+ TV series.
