With less than a week until the two-episode premiere of The Acolyte, Disney+ has ramped up the excitement by releasing a series of character posters. These posters spotlight the show’s Jedi heroes as well as Mae, the mysterious dark-side assassin central to the series.
The posters offer fresh looks at key characters: Mae, Jedi Masters Sol, Indara, Kelnacca, and Padawan Jecki Lon. While they don’t reveal any spoilers, they do provide intriguing details about each character, helping us understand their roles in the story.
Last night, the first two episodes of The Acolyte were screened at a premiere event in London. Attendees have since shared their reactions on social media. While these responses are generally positive, they are slightly less enthusiastic compared to the initial round of reactions.

The Acolyte brings a thrilling investigation into a shocking crime spree, pitting a respected Jedi Master (Lee Jung-jae) against a dangerous warrior from his past (Amandla Stenberg). As they uncover more clues, they embark on a dark journey where sinister forces reveal that nothing is as it seems.
The series boasts a stellar cast including Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, Jodie Turner-Smith, Rebecca Henderson, Dean-Charles Chapman, Joonas Suotamo, and Carrie-Anne Moss.
Created by Leslye Headland, The Acolyte is based on the Star Wars universe by George Lucas. Headland also serves as an executive producer alongside Kathleen Kennedy, Simon Emanuel, Jeff F. King, and Jason Micallef. Co-executive producers include Charmaine DeGraté and Kor Adana, with Rayne Roberts, Damian Anderson, Eileen Shim, and Rob Bredow as producers.
Headland directed the premiere episodes (Eps. 101 & 102), with Kogonada (Eps. 103 & 107), Alex Garcia Lopez (Eps. 104 & 105), and Hanelle Culpepper (Eps. 106 & 108) rounding out the directing team.
