Announced last year, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem serves as a sequel to the 2023 animated film by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Jeff Rowe. With a painterly art style akin to the movie, the game promises a humor-filled narrative.
Set after the events of the film, the game follows the turtles as they navigate their newfound acceptance in society, only to be thrust back into action when a new mutant threat emerges in New York City.
A 3D brawler/platformer, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem offers solo or two-player co-op gameplay. Each turtle boasts unique playstyles and ninja skills, crucial for restoring peace to the city.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, though lacking a concrete release date, is anticipated to hit shelves later this year.
“It’s exciting to launch our first console game set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem universe, especially as the franchise only continues to grow,” expressed Doug Rosen, SVP, Games and Emerging Media, Paramount, during last year’s announcement. “The vibrancy of this new film’s animation lends itself perfectly to video games, and we can’t wait for everyone to play it.”
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie garnered critical acclaim and fan adoration, boasting a 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 90% Audience Score. Critics lauded its unique visual style and a “story that captures the essence of the franchise’s appeal.” Unlike previous entries, Mutant Mayhem delved into the teenage aspects of the turtles, exploring themes of acceptance and the desire to fit in.
Beyond the game, a sequel and a two-season 2D animated series based on the film have already been greenlit.
