Disney CEO Bob Iger has tasked Marvel Studios with prioritizing quality over quantity, leading to a new plan: three movies per year and only two Disney+ TV shows. This shift aims to enhance the overall quality of Marvel’s productions.

Kevin Feige is expected to reveal an updated Multiverse Saga slate at both San Diego Comic-Con and D23. However, today we have some exciting updates from scooper Daniel Richtman.

Spider-Man 4

First up, Spider-Man 4 is reportedly set to begin shooting this fall, with a target release in theatres by fall 2025. This rapid timeline aligns with the wall-crawler’s previous solo outings.

The plot thickens as Richtman suggests that the piece of Venom left on Earth-616 at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home will play a significant role in the new movie. This development fits with Peter Parker’s likely dark state following Aunt May’s death and his erasure from public memory.

Midnight Suns

For all you horror fans, the latest buzz is that cameras will start rolling on Midnight Suns as soon as Blade wraps production.

In the MCU, several characters could join the Midnight Suns lineup, including Doctor Strange, Clea, Black Knight, and Man-Thing. Given the fast-approaching next Avengers movies, it’s surprising Marvel Studios has found room for this team.

One character we expect to be part of the Midnight Suns is Oscar Isaac’s Moon Knight. Isaac recently teased, “There have been some specific conversations. They were pleasant. The spilling of the details is that there are no details. We don’t know [if there will be a second season], but we’re talking about it.”

Isaac continued, “Whether [Moon Knight returns] in a group thing or maybe a great idea comes around for a season two or if it’s a standalone film or whatever it could be, I think it’s just approaching it in that kind of way. It’s the story first.”
