Fresh from Ubisoft, a leaked product blurb hints at the release date of Assassin’s Creed Shadows set for November 15. Alongside this revelation, dataminers have uncovered additional pricing and DLC details for the highly anticipated game, ahead of its official world premiere announcement.

The unveiling of the next instalment’s official title, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, came from Ubisoft on May 13. Alongside this announcement, the company teased the premiere of the game’s cinematic trailer, scheduled for May 15 at noon ET. Multiple YouTube Premiere pages for the trailer are already live, building anticipation among fans.

Ubisoft Accidentally Leaks Another Game’s Release Date

Fans were quick to notice that Ubisoft Italy’s video description inadvertently disclosed the apparent release date of November 15 for Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Although the company swiftly removed this premature reveal, screenshots of the blunder had already circulated on social media. Interestingly, this mirrors the incident that led to the online leak of the Star Wars Outlaws release date in early April.

If the redacted blurb proves accurate, Assassin’s Creed Shadows will mark the first new mainline entry in the franchise to launch on November 15 since Assassin’s Creed Revelations did so back in 2011.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows Season Pass Rumoured to Cost $40

In another leak preceding Ubisoft’s May 13 announcement, dataminer Frax (AKA fraxR6) spilled the beans on the game’s official title hours ahead of schedule. Not stopping there, Frax also provided insights into Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ purported DLC plans, claiming that the open-world RPG will debut alongside a $40/€40/£40 season pass.

According to Frax, the season pass will feature a quest named Origami Killer, which they believe will be available from day one. This aligns with Ubisoft’s tradition of including launch-day bonus missions in new Assassin’s Creed entries, as evidenced by The Forty Thieves quest in Assassin’s Creed Mirage.

In addition to the launch-day bonus mission Origami Killer, Frax’s leak suggests that Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ season pass will include two expansions, slated for post-release. Each expansion is expected to be available individually for $25.

Frax also revealed details about a pre-order bonus named Thrown to the Dogs. However, the specifics of this bonus remain unclear, leaving fans to speculate whether it’s another exclusive mission or perhaps an item bundle.

Assassins Creed Codename Red

Completing the information dump, Frax provided a purported list of in-game currency purchases for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, ranging from 500- to 6600-Helix packs.

Microtransactions have been a hotly debated topic among Assassin’s Creed fans, and while Ubisoft has never hinted at discontinuing them, this latest leak adds fuel to the ongoing controversy.
