The Official Trailer for Zack Snyder’s Rebel Moon Part Two: The Scargiver Released by Netflix.
After unveiling the official poster for the film, Netflix released the highly anticipated trailer on Monday. Offering glimpses of intense battle sequences, the trailer hints at the action-packed nature of the sequel. While The Scargiver isn’t slated to start streaming on Netflix until April 19, eager viewers can catch an early preview by checking out the new trailer below.
“It’s a war film, 100 percent,” Snyder recently teased of The Scargiver, per Empire. “It’s got way more action than the first movie, very intense and crazy action. It’s absolutely an emotional rollercoaster you’re going to be on with these cats. We discover the backstories of our heroes, and there is an interesting correlation between what’s happened to most of them to make this battle cathartic and symbolic.”
Kora’s Story Continues in The Scargiver
Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver, per the official synopsis from Netflix, “continues the epic saga of Kora and the surviving warriors as they prepare to sacrifice everything, fighting alongside the brave people of Veldt, to defend a once peaceful village, a newfound homeland for those who have lost their own in the fight against the Motherworld. On the eve of their battle the warriors must face the truths of their own pasts, each revealing why they fight. As the full force of the Realm bears down on the burgeoning rebellion, unbreakable bonds are forged, heroes emerge, and legends are made.”
Sofia Boutella (Argylle) leads the cast of The Scargiver, joined by Djimon Hounsou (Shazam!), Ed Skrein (Deadpool), Michiel Huisman (Game of Thrones), Doona Bae (Kingdom), Anthony Hopkins (The Father), Staz Nair (Supergirl), Fra Fee (Hawkeye), Cleopatra Coleman (The Last Man on Earth), Stuart Martin (The Duke), Ingvar Sigurðsson (Trapped), Alfonso Herrera (Ozark), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Rhian Rees (Halloween), Sky Yang (Halo), Charlotte Maggi (Summer Love), Ray Fisher (Zack Snyder’s Justice League), and returning A Child of Fire star Elise Duffy.
Zack Snyder directed both installments of the Rebel Moon series. He also co-wrote the script with Kurt Johnstad and Shay Hatten. Snyder produced with Deborah Snyder, Eric Newman, and Wesley Coller, while Johnstad and Hatten executive produced alongside Bergen Swanson and Sarah Bowen.
Rebel Moon — Part Two: The Scargiver will be released on Netflix on April 19, 2024. The R-rated cuts of both installments are expected to hit Netflix this summer.
