As the highly anticipated series ‘3 Body Problem’ gears up for its world premiere at the SXSW Film & TV Festival in Austin, TX on Friday, March 8th, Netflix has treated fans to the final trailer and a striking new poster for the adaptation of acclaimed Chinese author Liu Cixin’s masterpiece.
From the minds of David Benioff & D.B. Weiss (Game of Thrones) and Alexander Woo (True Blood), the series delves into a captivating narrative where strangers unite across various timelines to thwart an enigmatic alien threat that imperils humanity.
Early glimpses of ‘3 Body Problem’ promise a thought-provoking blend of intelligent storytelling and gripping science fiction, leaving fans eagerly awaiting its release.

The stellar cast of ‘3 Body Problem’ includes Jovan Adepo, John Bradley, Rosalind Chao, Liam Cunningham, Eiza González, Jess Hong, Marlo Kelly, Alex Sharp, Sea Shimooka, Zine Tseng, Saamer Usmani, Benedict Wong, and Jonathan Pryce.
Co-creators, executive producers, and writers David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, known for their work on ‘Game of Thrones,’ alongside Alexander Woo (‘The Terror: Infamy,’ ‘True Blood’), bring their creative vision to life. Bernadette Caulfield (‘Game of Thrones,’ ‘The X-Files’) serves as an executive producer, while Rian Johnson (‘Knives Out,’ ‘Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi’), Ram Bergman, and Nena Rodrigue contribute as executive producers for T-Street.
The late Lin Qi, former Chairman of Yoozoo Group, and Zhao Jilong, CEO of the rights-holder The Three-Body Universe, are also listed as executive producers, along with Xiaosong Gao and Lauren Ma. Plan B Entertainment’s Brad Pitt, Jeremy Kleiner, and Dede Gardner are executive producers, with Rosamund Pike and Robie Uniacke as executive producers for Primitive Streak. Derek Tsang and Andrew Stanton are set to direct and co-executive produce, with additional direction from Jeremy Podeswa and Minkie Spiro.
