After ‘The Marvels’ Crash, Iman Vellani Gets Marvel ‘Assurance’ for MCU Return… and Possibly Begging for Young Avengers!

Iman Vellani, AKA Ms. Marvel, isn’t just saving the day on screen – she’s also salvaging what’s left of Marvel’s pride! 🦸‍♀️ Despite ‘The Marvels’ taking a nosedive so steep, it practically dug its own grave and buried Disney’s hopes along with it (ouch, $200 million loss!), our girl Vellani remains unfazed.

In a move that’s part heartwarming, part desperate plea for survival, Marvel Studios reportedly had to reassure Vellani that she’s still in the MCU game after the spectacular disaster that was ‘The Marvels.’ Talk about needing a superhero to rescue you from box office doom!

But wait, there’s more (or less, depending on how you see it)! Rumor has it that Marvel had grand plans for the Young Avengers in the MCU, but thanks to fans ghosting ‘The Marvels’ faster than you can say ‘superhero flop,’ those dreams might be as distant as a forgotten Infinity Stone. 🙈

So what’s a Marvel hero to do? Vellani’s pulling out all the stops, including possibly rallying the handful of viewers who actually watched ‘The Marvels’ to beg Marvel to reconsider the Young Avengers. Hey, when you’re down and out, every fan counts, right?

Will Ms. Marvel’s heartfelt pleas be enough to save the day and bring the Young Avengers to the MCU? Or are we facing yet another Marvel mishap in the making?

In a recent chat with Polygon ahead of the Anime Awards, Iman Vellani spilled the beans (or rather, breadcrumbs) on her MCU fate.

“I have been assured,” she said, with a laugh that’s equal parts relief and resignation. “So that feels good, but there was no more assurance than that. [laughs] They give me breadcrumbs, and I try and make a meal out of it.”

Ah, the classic Marvel strategy: keep ’em guessing and hungry for more!

But hold onto your capes, folks, because here’s the twist: Vellani herself has no clue when she’ll be back in action in the MCU. Talk about flying blind!

And speaking of Marvel mysteries, let’s not forget our beloved Brie Larson, who recently left fans scratching their heads with her own silence about the MCU future. Rumor has it that Captain Marvel 3 might just be a figment of our imagination. Well, that’s one way to keep us on the edge of our seats!

So, dear Marvelites, grab your magnifying glasses and start decoding those breadcrumbs because it looks like we’re in for another round of superhero suspense!”

Marvel Zombies

Iman Vellani Zombie

Remember that time when Iman Vellani dropped the bombshell that she’d be gracing our screens in the Marvel Zombies animated series? Yep, it’s official – Kamala Khan is about to kick some undead butt!

If you’re one of the rare fans still rooting for our beloved character, get ready to cling onto your hopes until the very end. According to Vellani herself, Kamala’s taking center stage in this zombified extravaganza. Hey, at least she’s got a killer sense of timing, right?

So buckle up, folks – it’s a wild ride through the MCU graveyard, and Kamala Khan is our last beacon of hope. Will she survive the zombie apocalypse with her wit and superpowers intact? Or will she end up as just another brain-hungry extra? Only time (and a whole lot of animated gore) will tell!

“We’ve done the whole thing. It was amazing. It was so much fun. And I love—there are a lot of cool characters in the ‘Marvel Zombies’ show. And Kamala is kind of the centre of the show. They described it to me, it’s like, ‘She’s basically the Frodo of the story.’ And I was like, ‘That’s amazing,’”

Marvel Switching Back to Male Leading Roles?

In a move that’s more pivot than pirouette, Disney bigwig Bob Iger is shaking things up after the faceplants of flicks like ‘The Marvels.’ Apparently, the solution to their box office blues is as simple as a superhero gender swap.

According to the grapevine (and probably a few stressed-out execs), Iger’s steering the ship away from female-led roles that bombed faster than a Hydra scheme gone wrong. Instead, it’s all hands on deck for the male characters who’ve been raking in the cash and stealing hearts like it’s their day job.

Thor Captain America Iron Man Avengers

But hold onto your spandex, because it’s not just corporate suits feeling the heat – even Iman Vellani, our beloved Ms. Marvel, might be scratching her head at this one. Let’s face it, folks, when it comes to understanding why Kamala Khan’s not winning hearts, the answer’s as clear as a Daily Bugle headline: the poor girl’s got more backstory baggage than Tony Stark’s Iron Man suits!

From cosmic to magical, Inhuman to mutant, and everything in between, it seems like the MCU couldn’t decide which superpower buffet to pick for our dear Kamala. Talk about a case of superhero identity crisis!

So, dear readers, grab your popcorn and settle in for another round of Marvel madness. Will Bob Iger’s male-dominated strategy save the day? Or are we in for a whole new level of superhero saga shenanigans? One thing’s for sure – with Disney at the helm, the only thing more unpredictable than their box office hits is their next plot twist!”

Now it’s your turn, fellow movie buffs and Marvel enthusiasts! What do you make of Bob Iger’s bold move to steer Disney away from female-led superhero flicks? Do you think it’s the right call, or is it a case of throwing the hero out with the bathwater?

And let’s not forget poor Kamala Khan – caught in a whirlwind of cosmic confusion and storyline mishaps. Do you agree that her character’s writing could use a serious rewrite, or do you think she deserves a chance to shine in the MCU spotlight?
