Insomniac Reveals New Game+ Mode Details for Spider-Man 2, Including Next Wave of Unlockable Suits for Peter Parker and Miles Morales, Arriving Next Month.
Spider-Man 2’s New Game+ Mode Launching March 7 with Exciting Features and Costumes
After much anticipation, Spider-Man 2’s New Game+ mode is set to arrive on March 7, a confirmation that follows earlier hopes for a release by the end of last year. Insomniac’s latest announcement, detailed on GameFragger.com, sheds light on what fans can expect from this long-awaited update.
One of the highlights is the introduction of Ultimate Levels and Golden Gadget styles, offering fresh challenges and customization options for both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. Players can delve into mission replay, allowing them to wreak havoc on Oscorp’s goons as Venom repeatedly. Moreover, new styles for Peter’s symbiote story suits will be available, with the added bonus of choosing a color for symbiote abilities.
Excitingly, the update includes the addition of Hellfire Gala suits for both Spider-Men, designed by Russell Dauterman and Bernard Chang, respectively. These costumes will be provided free of charge, adding further variety to players’ wardrobes.
In addition to costume updates, Spider-Man 2 will receive enhancements to Photo Mode, the ability to alter the time of day, and several new Accessibility features, including Audio Descriptions and Screen Reader options, ensuring a more inclusive gaming experience.
For players looking for even more customization options, a “Fly N’ Fresh Suit Pack” will be available for purchase at $4.99, albeit for a limited time only.
