The LEGO Group is teasing an upcoming collaboration with Dungeons & Dragons to celebrate its 50th anniversary on social media, featuring an adorably deadly gelatinous cube.

While not revealing many details about the LEGO Ideas set, the teaser video showcases a skeleton, a key, coins, and various items previously trapped in the cube. Get a sneak peek below and let your imagination run wild as you anticipate the full set.

“Time to party up,” exclaimed The LEGO Group. “We’re oozing with anticipation! Are you ready to embark on epic adventures?

Back in 2022, LEGO held a contest encouraging creators to submit their ideal D&D set. Following hundreds of entries and a fan-led vote, BoltBuilds’ Dragon’s Keep: Journey’s End emerged as the victor.

BoltBuild’s set, just under 3,000 pieces, includes features like “great routes with changable doors,” the Witches Tower, the Tavern, the Dungeon, and the Crypt. It’s designed to facilitate your very own D&D adventures.

In the winner’s announcement, LEGO stated, “This submission will be part of the 50 years of Dungeons and Dragons celebrations, and we cannot wait to see this set in the hands of fans in the future.” However, it’s worth noting that the fan model is not the final product, so there may be differences from what you see below.
