New trailer, visual, theme songs and Spirit character visual unveiled.
After much anticipation, KADOKAWA drops bombshell: ‘Date A Live’ Season 5 confirmed for April 2024 premiere! Unveiling of first trailer, new key visual, and introduction of Mio Takamiya adds to excitement!

Miyu Tomita, the opening singer for Date A Live IV, is making a triumphant return to the franchise for Date A Live V’s opening theme, titled ‘Paradoxes.’ Joining her is the voice acting singing unit sweet ARMS, reprising their roles in the series and returning to perform the ending theme, ‘Hitohira.’

The original Date A Live light novels, crafted by Koushi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako, are published by KADOKAWA in Japan under their Fantasia Bunko imprint. For English-speaking fans, Yen Press offers an English language version of the light novels.
Heading the helm at studio GEEKTOYS, director Jun Nakagawa (known for Ranking of Kings) continues to guide the series. Crunchyroll, the streaming platform, has been the go-to for the first four seasons, providing anime enthusiasts with a delightful description of the series.
Ordinary high school boy Shido discovers a mysterious girl at ground zero of a recent spacequake. Shido learns, through his sister Kotori, that the girl is one of the Spirits: mystical creatures responsible for the spacequakes. Shido is recruited to help “seal” the sprits and end their threat to mankind. There’s just one catch: the only way to seal a spirit—is to make her fall in love with you.
Exciting news all around for Date A Live fans! With returning talent and fresh themes on the horizon, it’s shaping up to be an electrifying fifth season.
