Warner Bros. has unleashed an epic three-minute trailer for “Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire,” and if you thought the previous clash was nuts, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet!
The MonsterVerse takes a bold leap into full-on sci-fi territory, departing from the grounded approach of Gareth Edwards’ film nearly a decade ago.
In this sneak peek, we discover that the Hollow Earth is teeming with creatures like Kong. However, as the villainous Skar King seeks dominion over them, both Kong and later Godzilla find themselves in an epic showdown with the antagonist, spanning deep beneath the surface and familiar locations across the globe.
The Skar King appears to be a formidable adversary, necessitating the combined might of both Titans. Yet, we can’t help but wonder if this mysterious foe will rally support from other familiar Titans drawn from the TOHO catalogue.

Godzilla vs. Kong: The New Empire” features a star-studded cast including returning actors Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle from “Godzilla vs. Kong,” alongside newcomers Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, and Fala Chen.
The screenplay is crafted by a talented team comprising Terry Rossio (“Godzilla vs. Kong”), Simon Barrett (“You’re Next”), and Jeremy Slater (“Moon Knight”), based on a story by Rossio, director Adam Wingard, and Barrett, inspired by the iconic character “Godzilla” created by TOHO Co., Ltd.
