Confirmed: The infamous clown prince of chaos, Joker, will not only make an appearance in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League but will also be playable.

In the conclusive installment of the developer diary series for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady Studios has officially disclosed the post-launch content roadmap in anticipation of the game’s release. The studio provided intricate details about the first season of DLC, slated for a March release.

Included in the initial season are fresh boss encounters, diverse enemy variants, a Joker-themed playable environment, and two additional episodes brimming with new activities, missions, and strongholds to engage in.

Rocksteady has outlined plans for three more seasons of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, with each subsequent season introducing a new playable character and an additional playable environment. These seasons will also bring forth new weapons and activities for players to explore and enjoy.

Despite the original Arkhamverse Joker being deceased for half a decade, this version introduces a fresh Elseworlds take on the iconic villain,” shared Rocksteady studio director Darius Sadeghian in the developer diary. Johnny Armstrong, Rocksteady’s Associate Design Director, expanded on this, stating that this Joker “was part of the Suicide Squad in the Elseworld from which he hails, indicating a somewhat more cooperative nature compared to our previous encounter with the character.” Armstrong tantalizingly hinted that this iteration of the Joker is “unhinged in a different way.”

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to release on February 2 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S
