DCU welcomes Anya Chalotra, renowned for her role in The Witcher, as the confirmed choice for Circe in the upcoming Creature Commandos animated series, as announced by James Gunn.

In the wake of this revelation, enthusiasts are contemplating the possibility of Anya Chalotra reprising her role in the live-action realm of the DCU. Speculations include her potential collaboration with Gunn’s newly envisioned Wonder Woman, who might share a similar age range of around 30 years. Furthermore, there’s speculation about Chalotra’s involvement in the Paradise Lost TV series, currently in development. This series, set in Themyscira, explores the genesis and political intrigues of the island inhabited solely by women, the Amazons, and the birthplace of Wonder Woman.
Creature Commandos Cast
Leading the ensemble cast, Frank Grillo takes on the role of Rick Flag Sr., the paternal figure to Joel Kinnaman’s Rick Flag, Jr. David Harbour embodies Eric Frankenstein, offering a fresh take on the classic monster, while Indira Varma steps into the character of the Bride, Frankenstein’s beloved.

Maria Bakalova debuts as Princess Ilana Rostovic, a completely new character introduced for the show. Sean Gunn showcases his versatility by playing both GI Robot, a military android, and reprising the role of Weasel from The Suicide Squad. Zoe Chao lends her voice to Nina Mazursky, an amphibious scientist, and Steve Agee returns as John Economos, reprising his character from Gunn’s The Suicide Squad and the recent post-credit scene in Shazam: Fury of the Gods.
